Hi friends! Today I’m so excited to share with you the newest drink of the summer – Baileys Almande! I’m so stoked about this new bevvy, I can’t even deal. It’s made with almondmilk, so it’s perfect for people like me who are lactose intolerant or have a dairy-free diet (it’s also gluten free!). So far, I’ve tried it in my coffee (perfect for brunch), on its own over ice, and as a delicious and simple cocktail (recipe below!). I even attended a barre to bar event recently where one of the bartenders from Meadowlark Kitchen blended it into refreshing boozy smoothies! How perfect for a summer pool day?? Seriously, the possibilities are endless, and you’ll start to become your own mixologist thinking of creative ideas to use Baileys Almande for all your summer parties. It’s light tasting, so you can still enjoy a fun adult treat while maintaining that bikini bod 🙂 Check out the recipe below for a super simple and refreshing cocktail that will be your new go-to!
Bailey’s Almande Refresh
3 oz. Baileys Almande
3 oz. Vita Coco
Garnish of choice (I like pineapple slices)
Fill a rocks glass with crushed ice. Pour equal parts Baileys Almande and Vita Coco Coconut Water over the ice. Gently stir. Garnish with something fun and colorful like a pineapple slice or cherry and finish with a fun straw.
And because I can’t resist the classic Baileys and coffee combo, I came up with another cocktail that’s perfect for brunch or poolside lounging:
Baileys Almande Coco-Coffee Cooler
1 cup coffee, chilled
3 oz Baileys Almande
1 tablespoon cacao nibs
1 tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 cup ice
Blend all the ingredients together in a blender. Pour into a tall glass and serve with cacao or cocoa powder for a garnish.
